A personalized card Heading to the U.S.A 

A boxed card ( card for Blind person)

Raised letters and the person's name in Braille were two features of this card. I also added a shadow box and put coloured glass beads in to the box and then covered it with a clear piece of film. The effect was that the card made a noice when you shook it. I had never been asked to do a card for a blind person before so this was a bit of a challenge.

Finally getting a chance to get back to my blog. Busy with a few boxed cards this week. Had a few unusual requests to met. This first one I tried out a shadow box effect. Hard to see in the photo but it is a lovely unusual feature that leads to many possibilities, for the "little bit different card"

To  mark that special day that just passed us. Card made for a gentleman who's Birthday fell on 11/11/2011

This one was a card for an avid Dublin GAA supporter and who was also big into politics.

Personalized Baby Keepsake Boxes

 The baby keepsake box is made from a standard A4 type storage box. The lid is covered and personalized. I try to select boxes with either a pink or blue theme so that the sides will match in with the lid.

A close up of the lid, similar to that of a card but on a bigger scale.

Inside the box there are three small boxes for the first tooth,lock of hair and identity bracelet. Also included is a covered photo album and a personalized 7 page Baby book. Finally to make it a nice gift is a greeting card to match.

Thinking of Christmas!!

Yes!! Some of us are organized and have thought about our Christmas list. NOT ME!! But my sister in law has and has given me an order. She wants individual cards for all her grandchildren and ones for each of her three married children. She also asked me to do the inserts with a little pocket so that she could add a few bob. I Will post the insert when i have them done. For this one I used some snowmen that had originally come from a magazine Making Cards

A personalized boxed card

A silver wedding Anniversary card . I was asked to make a card for a couple who own a newspaper shop and own a boat. As you can see I tried to bring in these two elements into the card.

Two cards using my BABY BOO die (so cute)

 A baby boy personalized card using  my new die from Go Kreate  (Boo on his bum). A cute addition to any baby or christening card.

A tough one, when asked to do a cute card for a Sixty year old granny from her two young grandchildren. I believe the recipient was thrilled with her card .

One Of My Craft Projects

This is a triangle Bag that  is made simply from one sheet of A4 card. By adding a handle and a few embellishments it makes a nice favour bag or a small gift bag. I have just made 50 for a local craft shop.

Introduction to Lewis and Amber

Lewis and Amber are my two dogs. Lewis is the Border Collie and Amber is the Jack Russel (pup). As you can see they get on well and spend hours running around after each other. I am just getting familiar with this blog so excuse my uninteresting post.

Welcome to my new blog. I have finally decided to take the plunge and venture into the amazing world of blog  land!!
I love making cards and other paper crafting projects, which I hope to share with you. I have a family and a couple of dogs and several horses. So no doubt photos of them will also appear from time to time.
